Inner Mongolia Huadian disclosed its 2024 semi-annual report on August 24. In the first half of 2024, the company achieved a total operating income of 10.769 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 2.97%; The net profit attributable to the parent company was 1.768 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 19.17%. During the reporting period, the company's net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies increased over the same period last year, mainly due to the decline in the company's fuel procurement costs in the first half of the year, the improvement of the operating efficiency of coal-fired power enterprises, and the investment income of 283 million yuan, an increase of 846.12% over the same period last year.

As of June 30, 2024, a total of 19 power plants have been put into operation within the scope of the company's merger, with an installed capacity of 13,246,900 kilowatts, of which 11.4 million kilowatts are coal-fired generators, accounting for 86.06%; the installed capacity of new energy was 1,846,900 kilowatts, accounting for 13.94%; The company has a coal production capacity of 15 million tons per year.

During the reporting period, the company's consolidated power generation capacity was 28.476 billion kWh, a year-on-year decrease of 0.28%; The cumulative heat supply was 11,146,200 GJ, a year-on-year increase of 5.78%; The company's coal output was 6.829 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 0.94%.
